I have always loved Saint Joseph the Hesychast. In fact, I think my favorite book in the entire world, other than the Holy Bible, is Monastic Wisdom by Joseph the Hesychast. This book had a huge effect on me before I became Orthodox Christian, and it was because of this book that really led me to explore Orthodoxy. Since a friend of mine introduced me to this book many years ago, I have probably read this book over 15 times. It contains truly amazing words by the saint. I highly recommend anyone to take a look at this book and also get to know Saint Joseph the Hesychast.
So when I came across the below quote by Saint Joseph, I just had to make a comic strip of it.
Never seek to correct each other with anger, but only with humility and sincere love, because one temptation does cast out another temptation – Saint Joseph the Hesychast
These are truly amazing words that especially someone like me needs to follow and take to heart. Saint Joseph pray for us!

February 11, 2023 at 8:29 pmHi Milovan. I must confess that this happens to me, where I try to correct when I’m mad or upset instead of taking time to calm myself down and then correct with gentleness and love. I think people are more likely to listen when we’re calm rather than when we’re blowing our top ? Thanks for your comments!
