My new Father Gabriel Orthodox Christian comic strip is about how we see ourselves, and how our egos often times gets in the way of us seeing God and our relationship with Him. As the below quote by Gerontissa Macrina says, we must humble ourselves and see ourselves as nothing if we are to see God.
Only if you can see yourself as zero (nothing), being full of passions, can you see God. If you cannot see yourself as nothing, you cannot see God. God lives only in the humble person.
