January 4, 2023 at 9:23 amSuch a wonderful quote to teach us very important virtue as an Orthodox Christian. I should be more patient especially when going though some difficulties and want to see beautiful fruits (efforts and improves) I’ll make. I love Fr. Gabriel’s very gentle and humble face picking fruits very carefully and gently. Another masterpiece! Thank you!

Excellent quote from St. Anthony the great. Easy to read. Quite another to live out! His expression is loving and steadfast. Thanks!

January 4, 2023 at 12:08 pmThank you very much for your comments Mary! Yes I know what you mean. Often when I go through some difficulties or make effort in my ascetic labors, I expect fruits quickly. But I’ve learned that it doesn’t work that way. As the quote says that it takes time and perseverance. This is something that I have to remember.

January 4, 2023 at 12:11 pmThank you for your comment Dean! Yes I love Saint Anthony, such an amazing saint. Thank you, I always try to have an appearance of humility and love in Father Gabriel’s face. I see this so much in Orthodox priests, saints and monastics. So amazing and is something that I try to strive for. Thanks again for your comments.
